Helena Bonham Carter opens up about her fertility struggles in a recent interview with the Telegraph. The actress, 41, who is pregnant with her second child from partner director Tim Burton, revealed she found help on the Internet when she experienced a bad reaction to a treatment. When she started taking fertility drug Clomid, she said, “I had a terrible reaction to it. It turned out I was ovulating anyway. It stressed me out beyond belief. Hormonally, I was all over the shop and I got really low emotionally."Lots of people don't have that reaction, but, on the internet, I found a Clomid Club, with people who react to the stuff discussing it online." Bonham Carter confessed she even considered IVF (In vitro fertilization) treatment. She also followed alternatives therapies, but finally conceived naturally.

The British star, who was selected between 40 other actresses to get a part in Burton's Sweeney Todd, admits: "I auditioned for my role - although I'd have divorced Tim if I hadn't got it. In fact, we're not even married, but I'd have still divorced him. "In Sweeney, there have been times when we've taken our 'couple life' to the set. And often, I should keep shtoom.
